Announce: Maven 2 Plugin for JaxMe

Hi,

despite Ashleys efforts, I have decided to write an own plugin for Maven
2. Several reasons:

   - I wanted to learn writing a plugin for Maven 2. :-)
   - The plugin ought to offer all of JaxMe's configuration
features, not just those, which are inherited from JAXB.
   - If we switch to Maven 2 at some point (separate discussion
to come), then we need the plugin as a part of the project
anyways, because it depends on JaxMe and the JaxMe test
     suite depends on it.

The plugin is available from

     http://people.apache.org/~jochen/jaxme/site/mp/

I plan to keep it there for some weeks, while I am still doing some
tuning of the integration into Maven. After that, it should enter the
Subversion repository.

Jochen

Hi Jochen, glad you caught the maven bug, I knew you would!

Since you are the jaxme guy, I know you're plugin will be way better than the one in the sandbox - but where do you plan on housing it? If at codehaus we will have to manage mothballing the existing one somehow. Also I actually have a new implementation that just calls the ant tag - should I keep this around or do you already match all of the ant functionality?

Email me directly so we can sort something out.

- Ashley
