   Sorry for the late response. Just missed this issue since I was not assigned before and I was busy last week. Now I'll assign it to myself and continue looking at this issue. 
   
   From my perspective, your comment at https://github.com/apache/pulsar/issues/10747 is correct. Currently we cannot configure connection timeout and I'll add this config first.
