Using Abdera2 to generate Atom (xml) Activity Streams

Hi!

Right now I can generate activity streams as JSON as in this blob post
[1]. However I couldn't figure out how to generate the streams as
XML(ATOM  or RSS).

I intend to do that using Abdera2. How can I do that? Please point me
in the right direction.
