I am using jspwiki version 2.8.4 latest stable
I have downloaded the latex plugin from
http://www.jspwiki.org/wiki/LatexPlugin#section-LatexPlugin-DirectDownloadLinks
Can you tell me how to recompile it, if you think that this is the problem?

you probably will get better help if you provide some more info.
For example the versions (of JSPWiki) you are using.
Your problem looks like you have an old version of the latex plugin, you
could recompile it with the right JSPWiki version.
