The Processor documents that it can be scheduled to run with or without a FlowFile. However, it is not written in such a way for that to be possible. Running the Processor without a FlowFile would mean that it would continually run, pulling the same Document. So I'm not sure that it really makes sense to use this scenario anyway. This needs to be refactored so that the documentation explains clearly how it behaves and make sure that the code is cleaned up accordingly.
