[GitHub] [nuttx] no1wudi opened a new issue, #10722: Warnings about executable segment

no1wudi opened a new issue, #10722:
URL: https://github.com/apache/nuttx/issues/10722

Binutils 2.39 introduced a new warning about executable segments: `warning: <file> has a LOAD segment with RWX permissions`. This warning is emitted when a segment has both write and execute permissions.

There are two ways to fix this warning:

   1. Just ignore it by `--no-warn-rwx-segments`. This warning is not an error, and it does not affect the generated binary.
   2. Add essential gap between the `.text` and `.data` sections.

   Which should we do?

<!-- Edit the body of your new issue then click the ✓ "Create Issue" button in the top right of the editor. The first line will be the issue title. Assignees and Labels follow after a blank line. Leave an empty line before beginning the body of the issue. -->
