Jmeter thread group no longer starts

I created a thread group that worked great for several tests, then I ran the
test for an hour and now it runs so slowly that it's unusable (several
minutes pass before the first sample request is launched). Not sure why.
Other thread groups in the same test plan run fine.

Has anyone else seen this? Any way to get around it?

Thanks in advance.

No, JMeter does not cache anything.

Yeah, did that - no errors. The only warning is about loading the mailer,
which I'm not using anyway.

Is there any kind of cache used by Jmeter that can be flushed?

Look in jmeter.log for errors/warnings.

Seems to have something to do with my timers. They worked fine in the past,
but now when I disable them, the test runs fast. But now I can't throttle
the tests ... any ideas?
