Hello,
I was able to replicate this issue with the following configuration
- Mac Os X 10.9.5
- Open Office 4.1.1 (AOO411m6 build 9775 - Rev 1617669)
Steps to reproduce:
1. Download the attached file (index.html). When I downloaded it, my mac
appended a .txt in its name, so I needed to rename the file from index.html.txt
to index.html
2. Open the file in OOo Writer
3. Open the file in TextEdit
Expected result:
- The formatting in OOo Writer is easy to follow and read.
- There should be no blank pages without an intended reason.
- The text is not truncated.
One expectation to display this html could be similar to the way it's displayed
in TextEdit (attached file textEdit.png)
Actual result:
- The formatting in OOo Writer is not easy to read, there are some indentations
that make it harder to follow.
- On the first page there's little text (From, Sent, To, Subject) followed by a
blank space until the next page. The blank space cannot be erased. The second
page contains some weirdly formatted text and the third page is blank again
(attahed file openOffice.png)
- The text in the index.html looks truncated as after the second page there's
more text in the file, but it's not displayed in Writer
