I have installed the latest binary. Yet when I look for the apxs to build
modules its not there, where and how do I get hold of a copy.

The APXS binary, is located in $SERVERROOT$/bin/
Where $SERVERROOT$ == The location you installed Apache too.
I have just downloaded a copy (v 2.2.6 that is) of each of the tarballs and
they all contain the APXS binary.
Where did you get your download from? Apache.org? If so check the MD5 value of
your download against that of the one listed on the download site.
As an aside this is not quite a bug, please use the users mailing list, users @
httpd.apache.org

I will put this into the user mail listing, but how do I get a copy of the
apxs if its not in the mis file for windows.
