This last sentence is missing a period.

Since the download page already recommends verification, this sentence is
superfluous. I would recommend simply removing it.

Apologies for the wrong metadata. I couldn't find an appropriate way to file a
ticket about httpd.apache.org.

Reminding people after a month may be useful. Reminding after a few seconds
seems unlikely to help IMO.

Home page updated! I do believe that the sentence should stay there, there is
no harm in reminding best practices to people multiple times in my opinion :)
