**Bug Description:**
In Apache Superset time-series charts (Line chart with Area enabled), X-axis year labels at the chart boundaries are partially clipped. The current year label (e.g., 2026) is not fully visible, impacting chart readability.
**Steps to Reproduce:**
1. Use a dataset containing a date column (date_value) with data spanning multiple years (e.g., 2025–2026).
2. Create a time-series Line Chart and enable the Area option under the Customize tab
3. Configure:
- Time column: date_value
- Time Grain: Year
4. Observe the X-axis labels

**Expected Behavior**
All X-axis year labels should be fully visible and clearly readable without truncation.

**Actual Behavior**
The boundary year label (e.g., 2026) on the X-axis is partially clipped and not fully visible, while it remains correctly displayed in the tooltip.

- Users may misinterpret time ranges and trends due to unclear or missing axis labels, affecting data analysis accuracy.

I'll leave the issue open until we hear a response, but usually we close these when they've been fixed on master. The validation of that would be nice to have.

Can you check to see if that merged PR does indeed fix this on master? Maybe we can make sure it gets into 6.0.1 if it hasn't already (cc @sadpandajoe)

This issue with X-axis year labels being clipped at the chart boundaries in time-series charts was recently fixed in Superset. The root cause was in the ECharts configuration—by default, the last label could be hidden or clipped due to overlap detection. The fix (merged in PR #37181 on 2026-01-19) sets showMaxLabel: true and alignMaxLabel: 'right' for time-based axes, ensuring the last label (like 2026) is fully visible [details here](https://github.com/apache/superset/pull/37181).
If you are running the latest master/dev branch after this date, you should have the fix. If you still see the issue, try adjusting chart controls like "X Axis Label Interval" (set to "All"), "xAxisLabelRotation", or "truncateXAxis" in the chart's Customize panel [see discussion](https://github.com/apache/superset/issues/36325). Let me know if the problem persists after updating or tweaking these settings!

It sounds like it's fixed in master and we haven't gotten a confirmation in a bit. Going to close, feel free to reopen a new ticket if it's happening still in later versions.
