[jira] Created: (DIRSERVER-1112) ApacheDS installer creates
redundant server.xml file
ApacheDS installer creates redundant server.xml file
----------------------------------------------------
Key: DIRSERVER-1112
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DIRSERVER-1112
Project: Directory ApacheDS
Issue Type: Bug
Affects Versions: 1.5.1
Environment: Apache Directory Server 1.5.1
Windows XP SP2
Reporter: Stefan Zoerner
Priority: Minor
If installed with the help of the installers, users find two server.xml files in the directory layout.
* ../conf/server.xml
* .../instances/default/conf/server.xml
This causes confusion, as seen in DIRSERVER-1111
The first file should be removed (i.e. not installed)
