   Agreed, iterators _can_ be made to perform the same, but it requires a significant amount of trickery and is subject to the whims of LLVM. For the purposes of arrow kernels, its just unnecessary imo.
   
   https://medium.com/@veedrac/rust-is-slow-and-i-am-the-cure-32facc0fdcb may also be of interest, sadly it isnt't possible to implement try_for_each currently.
