integrate nutch 2 with java program
Hi,
What is the best way to integrate nutch 2 with a java program.
Is the only way to use it through the command line?
I saw the following thread at stackoverflow
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/5421020/nutch-invoke-in-java-not-command-line
"If you take a look inside bin/nutch script, you'll see that it invokes a
Java class corresponding to your command:
>From there on, it's only the question of looking at the API
docs<http://nutch.apache.org/apidocs-1.2/index.html>and, if necessary,
source code for those classes.
"
and wanted to know if this is the way.
Is there any documentation about entry points, plugin development, ...
Thanks,
David

I dont think that there is any change wrt nutch plugin system in 2.X. You
can use it the same link. In case you face any issues please report the
same.

Hi,
The plugin page
http://wiki.apache.org/nutch/PluginCentral
is about Nutch 1.3.
Is there a difference to 2.1?
What i miss generally in the wiki is that there is no explicit mention what
is valid for nutch 2 and what not.
If i can give an example from jquery
http://api.jquery.com/add/
next to each option it is written from which version it is.
Thanks,
David
