TomEE 10.3.x?
Hey all,
Johnzon is currently voting on releasing 2.2.0, the minor version bump indicates there are behavioral changes in this new version. Namely, Class<?> isn’t being mapped to/from JSON anymore by default.
Technically, this would mean for us we have to bump the 10.x line to 10.3.x. WDYT?
Thanks
Markus

Done. I’ve now removed the artifacts I added in the commit. I’ve also added
the line ‘pom.xml.versionsBackup’ to the .gitignore file.

absolutely, those are artifacts left behind from the versions:set goal
you don't want to commit normally

I updated the version in PR #2900, but this change created a whole lot of
'pom.xml.versionBackup' files.
Would it be a good idea to add these to '.gitignore'?

Hey Gabriel,
I'd like to hear more voices from the community on this before actually
doing that switch, but in the meantime you can create a PR that bumps
the version on the tomee-10.x branch to 10.3.0-SNAPSHOT so I can merge
that. Should probably be as easy as running mvn versions:set
-DnewVersion=10.3.0-SNAPSHOT
Thanks
Markus

I think it is a good idea. I can offer my help. How might it be needed?
