[jira] Updated: (TAP5-1478) Outdated tutorial version is online concurrently with updated tutorial

Rael G.C. updated TAP5-1478:
----------------------------

       Priority: Blocker (was: Major)
    Description:
I entered the site at http://tapestry.apache.org/tapestry5/ and open the tutorial link by there, it give me this tutorial URL: http://tapestry.apache.org/tapestry5/tutorial1/

This tutorial is really outdated, without enough information about how to import project to eclipse, other minor issues, and most important: it uses old software versions, like maven2, jetty5, jettylauncher (which is even discontinued).

After read the tutorial, I gone to home and found a updated version: http://tapestry.apache.org/tapestry-tutorial.html

So, why keep the old version so accessible (should be archived), or at least not labeled as outdated?

  was:
I followed the Tutorial for Tapestry5 these last days, and I found that env.html has references to very old versions of used programs: Maven2, JettyLauncher (discontinued, the author create a new "Run Jetty Run" plugin that works perfectly), Jetty5 and things like that.

The first.html has related issues too, like use old maven 2 commands and not a correct import of the tutorial1 into Eclipse.

I would be happy if I can update/fix those ones on the tutorial. How can I help?

Summary: Outdated tutorial version is online concurrently with updated tutorial (was: Outdated program versions and commands)
