Posting detail here, while having the big architectural debate on the mailing list:

The idea of having a link on the name tio the ACP is nice, but it should be only for people which do in fact have the reight to access the ACP (like the menu item).

And the presence of the link seems to be orthogonal to the niceness of the account-name, so I think it should be addresses by another issue.
