[jira] [Created] (RATIS-1601) Use the shaded dropwizard metrics and remove the dependency

Tsz-wo Sze created RATIS-1601:
---------------------------------

Summary: Use the shaded dropwizard metrics and remove the dependency
                 Key: RATIS-1601
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/RATIS-1601
             Project: Ratis
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: build, metrics
            Reporter: Tsz-wo Sze
            Assignee: Yaolong Liu

Once we have a new ratis-thirdparty release, we should update the code to use the shaded dropwizard metrics and remove the dependency. Also, we should remove the "Notice for Dropwizard" section and the "dropwizard-hadoop-metrics2" section from the NOTICE file.
