this guy is right: there is a typo in maven-parent pom's m-release-p 
configuration

But in fact, I'm completely lost with the current state:
        <plugin>
          <artifactId>maven-release-plugin</artifactId>
          <version>2.5.1</version>
          <configuration>
            <useReleaseProfiles>true</useReleaseProfiles>
            <releaseProfiles>apache-release</releaseProfiles>
            <goals>deploy</goals>
            <arguments></arguments>
            <useReleaseProfile>false</useReleaseProfile>
            <waitBeforeTagging>10</waitBeforeTagging>
          </configuration>
        </plugin>

we have both useReleaseProfile=false and useReleaseProfiles=true (which is 
ignored)
since <arguments> is empty, IIUC, there is no release profile used: is it 
expected?

why don't we use the configuration from parent?
