[VOTE] Retire Tamaya and migrate repositories to Github as they are
Hi *,
following our discussions in January and February 2020 I propose to
terminate/retire Apache Tamaya podling and move all repositories over to
Github and remove all references to Apache Software Foundation after that.
Vote is open until 2020-04-20.
[ ] +1 Please proceed with the steps above to retire Tamaya.
[ ] -1 No, let's keep Tamaya where it is and try to graduate.
[ ] 0 I don't mind
Thanks,
Phil

William you probably joined a little late, but I would not consider it a
chance to contribute to an official Jakarta EE configuration standard,
either directly or indirectly via MP Config.
Given most of that is also under the Apache license all it takes for those
who would like to contribute to Jakarta EE or Eclipse MicroProfile is an
ECA (pretty similar to the same agreement at Apache Foundation)

It looks like William has sent it to both lists, everyone else must have
voted on dev.

Hi Phil
Next step is to vote on general@. If you want I can start that, otherwise
anyone on the project could as well.

@John: thanks for reaching out,
can you start all necessary processes to get the ok for moving Tamaya to
Github?
We would like to keep the name for the project, but would remove all
references to ASF.
@ALL:
The vote to retire Tamaya has been passed with the following votes:
* +1: Werner Keil
* +1: Aaron Coburn
* +1: Oliver B. Fischer
* +1: Anatole Tresch
* +1: William Lieurance
* +1: me
Thanks,
Phil

Hi all
Please note the mixed public/private lists.
Looks like the vote passed, does that mean it's time to move it to the IPMC
to vote?
Thanks,
John
