job during datanode decommisioning?

Hi, 
Is it safe to run the jobs during the datanode decommissioning? Around 10% of the total datanodes are being decommissioned and i want to run a job mean while. Wanted to confirm whether it is safe to do this.

If you have replication set up, it shouldn't be a problem...
