[jira] Created: (AXIS-1875) Serializable JavaServiceDesc et. all
Serializable JavaServiceDesc et. all
------------------------------------
Key: AXIS-1875
URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AXIS-1875
Project: Axis
Type: Improvement
Versions: 1.2RC3
Reporter: David Blevins
Priority: Blocker
Attachments: serializable.patch
Here is a patch that makes the JavaServiceDesc, OperationDesc, ParameterDesc, and all related descriptors and (de)serializers serializable. Geronimo builds a JavaServiceDesc for every j2ee webservice at deploy time as serializes it as an attribute of the server configuration. This is a high priority patch for us. We actually can't use the cvs version of Axis till this patch is applied, so I have marked this patch as "Blocker" to be clear. We'll be using a custom built snapshot in the meantime.
