I think we are also encountering this issue. We have a suite of 2000 unit tests that is consuming over 2GB of heap. We are running 3.0.0-M5.

 

I wasted quite a few hours debugging why our unit tests were running out of heap. Would you please release 3.0.0-M6, so we can get a fix for this?
