Hi Alvaro,

thanks for the screenshots!

Please compare also other Apache projects:
http://tomcat.apache.org/
http://httpd.apache.org/
http://hadoop.apache.org/

Of course you might argue that those other projects might just have bad visual web-designers, however our project has to fit into the "Apache world" somehow.

If you think that we should put a orange header on top you have to give us very good arguments. I am a bit conservative, My point of view is: Design follows Function
That orange is kind of an alarm color and I don't see a connection where this Orange is comming from.
You can find for example nice colors that fit together with that application: http://kuler.adobe.com/

Please keep also in mind that we will need to re-style the whole Openmeetings Application according to our website, so that everything:
OpenMeetings Website and OpenMeetings Application has the same Look and Feel. If that orange is going to stay here we will need to put it into our application too.

For the Logo I would suggest that you remove the square between N and M
Also we should discuss what the green flower in the logo is exactly ... if we put it into the logo it has to have a meaning.
That is why lots of Apache projects put the "Apache Feather" into the logo as this feather is the official logo of the ASF.
We have no official icon or logo yet (so we instead use the feather)

Hope that helps
Sebastian

> Hi Sebastian,
> As all we know, OpenMeetings is a software basically of video and audio.
> Therefore would be in line enhance the image of Apache OpenMeetings pages
> offering visitors a point where rest their eyes after reading.
> Perhaps it would be refreshing to the eye put a OpenMeetings logo at the header of the main page.
> You can see an example here:
> ...as well as update the icons at this page:
> I love OpenMeetings as you, therefore want OM look as beautiful as be possible.
> Other beneficial point woul be rename the title VMWare at the page:
> ...to:
> VMWare - Iso Live DVD
> ...because thinking as a normal user computer as i am, if found only VMWare title (not now)
> could not imagine in that paragraph were a live iso dvd, but the most of the people know
> what is a live dvd.
> OpenMeetings have the means to help users just have to show them and remind them,
> For it would be wise to remember every three weeks or so, where they can get the iso
> live dvd through a post on the list, that with your permission i will write.
> These are ideas only.
> I have an image composition that show how can look the main page with a logo.
> Send to you by mail because here is no way tu upload.
> Thank you!
