Trouble after download
I am in big big trouble after downloading the newest version of Open
Office. The program is suddently no longer available on my mac, and all my
files are unreadable. Further more I now get a pop up on my desk every half
hour from something called Genieus.... (or related). This feels really like
a bad situation on my computer! Can you help me sort it out.
Best regards

You need to go to the official site OpenOffice.org to download the software, you will be redirected to SourceForge. net, the official mirror site. When you download from the official site you do not get malware downloaded.
Before you download a clean version of the software you need to run your anti-malware and anti-virus software to clean your computer.

It sounds like you may have downloaded from some third party site. You
should go to www.openoffice.org or one of the mirrors to make sure you
don't download something that has been tampered with.
