[jira] Created: (GERONIMODEVTOOLS-13) Web Service: Error while publishing modules, org.apache.geronimo.kernel.InternalKernelException

Web Service: Error while publishing modules, org.apache.geronimo.kernel.InternalKernelException
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

         Key: GERONIMODEVTOOLS-13
         URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GERONIMODEVTOOLS-13
     Project: Geronimo-Devtools
        Type: Bug
 Environment: wtp-I20050914, Eclipse 3.1, JDK 1.5.0_04, Geronimo 1.0-M4, Linux
    Reporter: Miguel A Paraz
 Attachments: eclipse-trace5.txt

I tried again with a fresh workspace to avoid the previous problem.

Steps:
1. Geronimo: New Server and Start
2. New dynamic web project "sample-ws"
3. Created plain class com.paraz.ws.Hello with method String greet(String)
4. New Web Service/Bottom Up for Hello
5. Next/Next and then Web Service Publication dialog
6. Publish - Could not publish to server

I am attaching the trace.

It works. Sorry about that. I didn't see any mention of the JDK 1.4 requirement.

Thanks. Looks like you are running on Java 5. This may be the problem. You need to build and launch using 1.4.2

Can you disable trace on the wst plugin and use the options file in the org.apache.geronimo.eclipse.devtools.core plugin?
