Apache 1.0.1 and httpd_monitor

Would it be a Good Idea to add the "new" httpd_monitor to 1.0.1...

Of course, has anyone even tried it yet?

It's actually pretty useful and I'm sorry I didn't start using it earlier.
One thing I plan on doing once we move to CVS is creating a C version...
Should be a way of getting familiar with CVS.
