Bug fix: minor
In taglib IteratorTag.java:330
- (messages.getMessage("getter.result", property));
+ (messages.getMessage("getter.result", property,
e.toString()));
the 'getter.result' message takes two arguments.
Cheers
Chris

As far as action.xml goes in Orion - no, it can live in WEB-INF now OK it
seems.
Hmm, I didn't think anything had changed - but the zip's are different

Boy, that's an odd one ... anything interesting in the log files?
The last modification to Struts was done on the 18th, so any builds since then
should be identical. I checked the logs that created and uploaded the nightly
distributions, and there did not appear to be anything amiss.
I will check some more on this.
(By the way, do you still need to move the "action.xml" file out of WEB-INF with
this version of Orion?).

Bug introduced in 7-24 build?
Posted by Chris Miller <ki...@vardus.co.uk>.
If I deploy the 23-7 build under Orion (v1.1.35), it seems OK. When I deploy
the 24-7 and 25-7 builds, I get:
Error parsing JSP page /struts/example/index.jsp line 6
Tag class org.apache.struts.taglib.MessageTag not found
Possible enhancement
Posted by Chris Miller <ki...@vardus.com>.
How difficult would it be for the message tag to check the date on the
resources.properties file, and reload it/them if it has been updated?
I find that currently if I tweak the contents of the file, Struts doesn't
realise it has changed.
I guess this would need to be a 'development=true' type of option for
performance reasons.
Is there anyone else that would be interested in a feature like this?
