Zeppelin 0.7.1 config for hive
I used these instructions (on CDH 5.8 quickstart VM) -

But cannot get hive interpreter to work (this used to work in 0.6.1)

Can you confirm that you are using the JDBC interpreter (and not the old hive one)?
Also, what do your interpreter settings for the JDBC interpreter look like?
