Upcoming releases: ACS 4.7.1 / 4.8.0

Hi all,

We will freeze for new features for Apache CloudStack 4.8 on January 15th. The release is expected by the end of the month.

So far we have one feature merged. Please go ahead and test/review any additional features. Bug fixes should be pointed towards 4.7 branch and will end up in both 4.7.1 and 4.8.0.

As we have not much for 4.7.1 yet, I think due to the time of the year we should skip one point release and next month release (only) 4.7.1 and 4.8.0.

Full schedule:

Jan 15: Freeze for 4.8
Jan 20: ACS 4.8.0 RC
Jan 20: ACS 4.7.1 RC
Jan 31 (the latest): 4.7.1 / 4.8.0 released!

Regards,
Remi

My point was to do only 4.7.1 instead of two like we did with 4.6.

Agree with Wido, there is probably no need for a point release.
Why not just do 4.8.0 and leave 4.7.1?
