Summary: loading mod_logio.so on win2k resulting apache crash
Product: Apache httpd-2.0
Version: 2.1-HEAD
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Windows 2000
Status: NEW
Severity: major
Priority: P2
Component: mod_logio
AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org
ReportedBy: sambukkaa@hotmail.com
I have installed the Apache server 2.0.52 on Win2k Advanced server with all
updates. (surly without installing the MS server)
All works wonderful and fast (Perl,PHP,Sessions) but whenever I load the
mod_logio.so into the server by adding this line into the .conf file like this:
LoadModule log_io_module modules/mod_logio.so
and reboot. The server prompts a system error system saying that Apache server
service can't start.
If you ask if the file mod_logio.so exists? Yes it does.
Apache simply crashed and doesn't start.
I have removed the mod_logio.so from the .conf file and everything runs
perfectly.
