using different file extention like .smi in Tomcat

Hi

I am trying to use jsp scriptlet in a file with different extenstion. I
guess in order to use jsp tags, the files must have extention .jsp, however,
I would like to use jsp tags and scriptlets in .sml files under tomcat's doc
directories. Is this possible? Is it is can you let me know what needs to be
done.
