newbie questions : compile error, direct API examples. etc

Hello,
I am just tried Slide and have a couple of questions:
(I am using 1.0.16)

1. where to download pre-build 2.0 ?

2. are there any sample source code using direct API ?

3. any simple explaination of Domain.xml ? after
reading the online page, still do not quite understand
the concepts (Structure, etc.)

4. any open source web based document management
solution build on top of Slide ?

It is in preparation and if things work out fine it will be available on 
Monday.
