[jira] [Created] (CAMEL-8012) camel-stream's scanStream mode should
read available lines before going to delay
Akitoshi Yoshida created CAMEL-8012:
---------------------------------------
Summary: camel-stream's scanStream mode should read available lines before going to delay
Key: CAMEL-8012
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CAMEL-8012
Project: Camel
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: camel-stream
Affects Versions: 2.14.0
Reporter: Akitoshi Yoshida
Assignee: Akitoshi Yoshida
Fix For: 2.14.1
Currently, when its scanStreamDelay property is set, camel-stream's scanStream mode goes into sleep for each line that it reads. This is not very practical in reading from a file that is being updated. A more preferable behavior would be to go into sleep only when there is no lines to read.
I am making this change without providing an option to revert to the original behavior. If you have some concern, please let me know.
regards, aki
