JXPathMetaModule, how to?

Hi,

I need to obtain a part of a value of a request parameter (a string 
before a '#'-character), and use it in a sitemap. JXPathMetaModule should 
do the job, I think. But I cannot find any examples of configuration or 
sitemap usage for this. Anyone?
