Is this Jira ([KIP link|https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/KAFKA/KIP-125%3A+ZookeeperConsumerConnector+to+KafkaConsumer+Migration+and+Rollback]) still actively being considered? As time passes the need to migrate old to new consumers continues to decrease.
