> Running secure HBase has always effectively required setting both hbase.security.authentication and hadoop.security.authentication, but internal usage was inconsistent. HBASE-7357 cleaned up the internal code usage. We should update the ref guide security docs to explicitly call out the requirement the hadoop.security.authentication be set as well.
