Fred Cheng updated QPID-6266:
-----------------------------
Comment: was deleted
(was: I figured out the correct combination of cmake, boost, and dependencies in order to build qpid-0.30 with visual studios. I am writing a new INSTALL-WINDOWS file. I am still trying to decipher win-sdk file. When the task is complete, I will see if it can be as part of 0.31 release. If not, I will post it on own website. )

> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: Dot Net Client
> Affects Versions: 0.30
> Environment: Windows XP (x86)
> Windows 7 ( x64).

> The build instructions in the file INSTALL-WINDOWS in qpid-cpp-0.30 does not work. For example, the file said to install
> 1. CMake 2.4
> 2. "cmake -i -G "Visual Studio 9 2008"
> The problem is the CMake 2.4 does not support "Visual Studio 9 2008"
> A second example is that the command -i for cmake has been depreciated in current version of cmake.
> The file README-winsdk.txt also appears to be outdated.
