[jira] [Commented] (ROL-2083) Upgrade Guice to 4.0

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ROL-2083?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=15005739#comment-15005739 ]

Kohei Nozaki commented on ROL-2083:
-----------------------------------

I found that upgrading Guice 3.0 to 4.0 brings only one new dependency "guava-16.0.1.jar" so there is no any conflict with other current dependencies that we have, And brings no failed tests due to upgrading. I think we are fine to upgrade Guice to 4.0.

I've just deployed a Roller instance which uses Guice 4.0 and SVN HEAD for my personal blog. I'll make a commit to SVN if it runs fine for several weeks.

> Guice 3.0 causes class loader leak ( https://github.com/google/guice/issues/288 ). Upgrading Guice to 4.0 should solve the issue.
