@vrozov Presto does not use any of the metastore code from the Iceberg library. Instead, it uses its existing metastore code from the Hive connector which already has config that fits with Presto, handles Kerberos security, allows alternate metastore implementations such as Glue, etc. The same is true for other Iceberg code including file reading and writing.
