New proxy support ?

This jira issue suggests that preliminary proxy support has been
included in the 1.1.x line:

Is this true, and if so are there any example on how to test it out? Or
perhaps a classname to lookup to get started in the right direction ?

 

Is there a rough timeline on when this issue will be fully closed ?

It will not be included in MINA 1 but will be included in MINA 2.

No explicit timeline is set yet.  More contributors, sooner release. :)
