getting output from service:

Hey guys! Here's the thing:
I found in the JAMES Wiki instructions to run JAMES as a service.
However, when I run JAMES via run.sh, if any of my mailets cause an
exception, I can see it spewing out to the terminal. I'd like to be able
to see the same thing when I run JAMES as a service. I'm using the
provided Madrake Linux version of the start script provided in the Wiki.
When I try to redirect the output of phoenix.sh to a file, I don't see
any of the output I usually get if I were to run JAMES via run.sh
instead. Can anyone help me?

Kenn Min Chong.
