---------------------------------------------------------------------

OK, I will try to be *very* clear here, since you are not a native speaker. Nothing wrong with that, many of your users probably also are not.. To make this easier I will include 2 screen shots, of the initial 2 pages your users see. I found both pages to be confusing. You use common words, each which is overloaded with many meanings. Then you do nothing to make clear WHAT you (you as in openmeetings experts) want me to choose. We can make this better for everybody!

I will attach an image called "Landing Page.JPG" which shows the landing page... from https://om.alteametasoft.com/openmeetings/#user/dashboard

I have no idea how to inline the image to show as part of this message, that also needs better help..

Looking at this image, can you see I circled the "How to" part on the top right area of the image? If I click "start", then I can no longer see this help. The help should be on each page, perhaps with part in BOLD. This is page 1, so "1 Press start" should be bold. We need to do this FIRST. Call attention to it!

Now look at where I marked things up with a blue pen. Top left, upload image is blue. Below that, two blue butttons, Start button, blue, calendar, blue, news all blue.. menu bar at the top, blue.. Lots of blue here!

This is a conference tool, right? So we want to maybe start a conference or join a conference? Maybe we can make those GREEN. Make these jump off the page. "Click Me!"
"Start" and my rooms enter (conference) and enter (webinar) should all be green.

First proposed change GREEN action buttons with the most common use-cases.

see attached image "First Change.jpg"
We make the start button green. It stands out..
Look at the red inked part. "How to conference", and below it, some redundancy.. with the exact SAME thing..WHY?

Fix that. First one lets change it to, "Getting Started".
Second one, hmm.. how to explain why "How to conference" is weak and bad.. I will put on my English Teacher hat, and try to explain. The word "Conference" is a noun. Latin root words being "Con", a prefix meaning "with". Next bit is "Fer". latin root meaning to carry, or bear.. Other uses, transfer, infer, confer, defer, prefer, refer, or just the raw base form ferry (like ferry boat..). The ending is "ence" this makes it a noun form in latin.. With me still? We have the meaning of something (noun) that brings to many.. how many? Good question? I can confer with a colleague, with a group of 5, or 500..

Back to "How to conference" Notice how we have no VERB? We need an action verb here! A strong one.. and let us rephrase to a more active style. "Create a conference, quickly!" would do nicely.

FIXES:
Change "How to conference" panel title to "Getting Started"
Change bolded first line in that panel to ""Create a conference, quickly!" "
Make the start button green.

> second, what does these words mean?!?
> Start screen: Conference? What is that? A tool tip maybe?
> Webinar? What is that? how is it different than conference? maybe a tool tip?!?
> I googled "openmeetings webinar vs conference" and got NOTHING to do with openmeetings, google just ignores that.. force +webinar 6 links! WOW EASY TO GROK THIS ONE! WHY?
> OK, now I see the helpful tip hiding in the top right..

> OpenMeetings, your web conferencing platform. You can either follow the 1-2-3 steps to enter a conference room directly or you choose the Calendar to set up and plan a meeting.

> I get this wall of text, with NONE of the terms defined. Help page? Can not find one. Tooltip, no, docs, not much more than a list of features on the homepage.. UMM Version 3.x and ?!?
> We seem to have a mailing list, and nothing else..
> Basically every time any dev visits a UI screen, add tooltips for anything not understood by a 5 year old child. and maybe a floating help page for where ever you are, with something relevant about what this is for, and what the choices MEAN. Define the terms, explain the "Why" show the flow.
