[jira] [Created] (AIRAVATA-249) EC2 integration and testing of XBya

EC2 integration and testing of XBya
-----------------------------------

                 Key: AIRAVATA-249
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AIRAVATA-249
             Project: Airavata
          Issue Type: New Feature
            Reporter: Chathura Herath
            Assignee: Heshan Suriyaarachchi
             Fix For: 0.3-INCUBATING

XBaya provides functionality through GFac to launch jobs to a EC2 instance. To do this currently user need to prepare the instance before hand and have the instance id, the application descriptions and the EC2 keys ready. Then these service descriptions can be used to compose workflows and can be attached to a already running image or can be launched in a new image.

Most of these functionality was implemented by Patanachai and it was demoed. We need to focus on getting it to production quality and test it.
