upgrade axis2 from 1.3 to 1.6

Who tried it?
I'm working on that...
Do you have any useful information on this topic?

Thanks.

Hi I performed upgrade.
If you are interested in that- I saved all steps I made.
There were problems with axiom, as you said. They changed some behaviour of
iterators. But I did workaround for that at ODE.

Hi,

I did that, too, and there was a nasty change in the semantic of
axiom. I remember that at some places the axiom messages were not
properly built before the inputstream has been closed. It was a
single-line-fix, but not too easy to find. If I'll recall what and
where it was, I'll come back to you.

Best,
  Tammo

I tried this some time back, there was no any major changes to ODE.
There was only one place that you need to fix. (deprecated Axis2 function,
could not remember though, you just need to comment out that operation).

Thanks,
Waruna
