* What MLLP client did you use? 
* Are you sure that the message sent by the MLLP client is correct? (e.g. if the MLLP client has a GUI for sending the message, can it be that you copy&paste these additional characters into the sending message field?)
* Can you try to use HAPI's MLLP client (if you didn't already)?
* Have you tried writing the received message to a file directly instead of {{stream:out}}
* Have you tried using Camel 2.4.0?

Please provide a more precise description how to reproduce that problem (especially, regarding the MLLP client). Thanks!
