What you are really looking to get here is LAZY CONSENSUS. No need to VOTE just say [LAZY CONSENSUS] and the devs will know that it is time to ask questions and/or object to your decision to do something in a particular way. Silence is then 

In Apache projects we leave 72 hours for this. Each project has its own heartbeat and I would leave longer time here when that spans the weekend.

I always thought that every vote was with lazy consensus. But since nobody had any comment I think its ok either way this time.

About the 72 hours I am sorry I miscalculated this.
