Here is an overview of the issue:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
        Key: MAVEN-743
Summary: tasks.html does not get linked to from anywhere.
       Type: Bug

     Status: Reopened
   Priority: Minor

 Time Spent: Unknown
  Remaining: Unknown

    Project: maven
 Components:
             plugin-site
   Fix Fors:
             1.0-final
   Versions:
             1.0-beta-10

   Assignee:
   Reporter: Brent Hale

    Created: Tue, 26 Aug 2003 10:30 AM
    Updated: Fri, 26 Sep 2003 1:13 PM
Environment: Windows XP;
Maven beta 10

Description:
The web page on Directory Layout (http://maven.apache.org/reference/dirlayout.html) talks about xdocs/tasks.xml. Running "maven site" indeed generates a tasks.html in the docs directory but it is not linked to from anywhere.

This is a handy (and consistent) way to track tasks (or to-do lists) and it should be linked to from the site that "maven site" generates.

Might I suggest that a link be added under the "Project Info" section for "Tasks".

Thanks
