[jira] [Resolved] (CASSANDRA-6675) Debian packaging: Recognize oracle java7 packages

     [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CASSANDRA-6675?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel ]

Michael Shuler resolved CASSANDRA-6675.
---------------------------------------

    Resolution: Not a Problem
      Assignee: Michael Shuler

The Build-Depends is also covered with a properly packaged oracle-java7-jdk Provides - this is mine:
{{Provides: java-compiler, java-sdk, java2-compiler, java2-sdk, java5-sdk, java6-sdk, java7-jdk}}

For reference, I maintain java7 and java8 packages in a private repository using:
https://github.com/rraptorr/oracle-java7
https://github.com/rraptorr/oracle-java8

Janusz has been maintaining these since Debian removed sun-java6, due to Oracle's acquisition and license change. They are top notch.
