   @felixonmars  what command are you using to compile against `riscv64` (in other words how would I test this PR)? 
   
   When I tried to run 
   ```
   cargo build --target riscv64
   cargo build --target riscv64
   error: failed to run `rustc` to learn about target-specific information
   ```
   
   I am sorry for my ignorance here -- I don't have access to a machine with such an architecture and haven't tried cross compiling myself.
